A Day trip to Sampaloc Lake

The Purpose of our Trip To Sampaloc Lake is to take Sunset, Sunrise and Startrails. I meet a friend in Alabang and took a bus going to Lucena Grand terminal and alight at SM San Pablo to meet another friend and from there we start our Journey towards The Lake.

Sampaloc Lake is an inactive volcanic maar on the island of Luzon, the Philippines.

It is the largest of the Seven Lakes of San Pablo, Laguna. Nearly half of the lake's depth has a shallow depression at the bottom, indicating its volcanic origin. The lake is behind San Pablo city hall and is dotted with fishpens and small cottages built on stilts.

It is the city’s biggest and premier lake, with an area of 104 hectares, a maximum depth of 27 meters, approximately 85% of its volume below 10 meters and 15% below 24 meters.

Locals made it a recreational area for jogging and other family happenings.

As for Us it is our opportunity to capture the beauty of sunset, sunrise and star trails unfortunately nature has other plans for the start trail so we booze into the night until there is clearing but to no avail so we settled for the sun rise and it didn't disappoint as it gave a us a wonderful sky to take photo and videos
