Hiking Adventure to Mt. Maculot traverse

Early morning of Oct. 29 2017 Me , My cousins and friends went for a day of adventure since it was basically our first time together to hike Mt Maculot situated in Cuenca, Batangas we first register to Baranggay 7 registration area and meet our guide sir Ryan then we headed out to our first stop a long walk to the first station. The first few station hike is not that challenging until we get to station 3 were we face moderately muddy area and the trail gets a little steeper but still can manage. As we hiked and reached the middle station we took a long 5 minute break and took selfies , we had a good view of Taal lake and the surrounding city , we are joking about Goto and Lomi atop of mountain. As we Hiked going to the Camp we slowed down because we are not used to hike ( I for instanced last hiked way back 2007 in Musuan Peak) but still we get to the base camp and went to see the rockies but first we took a rest and let other hikers get down before climbing the rockies and it was already 12nn. We climb the rockies summit in about 15mins. and stayed there for about an hour and we didnt notice the time as the we took photos, selfies and look at the breath taking view of the lake , mountains and cities then ascend back to base camp to rest before attacking the summit. After eating and hydrating we proceed to take on the summit as we walked the rain starts pouring heavily and that makes our hike from begginer to advanced (LOL) our hike slowed down due to muddy path going up its super slippery but we persevered until we reached the summit of Mt.Maculot 930 MASL we were relieved and happy that we've achieved it and again we took photos and selfies of that achievement and enjoy the atop of the mountain. On the accent the muddy rocky slippery and 70° angle of the trail makes it more difficult for us as we took the trail head on we found out that we will rappel down at least 10 foot rocky steep part of the accent and we grinded that out as we reached the grotto summit before dark. From the grotto we taught that it was an easy way down because it is paved ladder but we were wrong after 3 stations we went down with again muddy rocky steep trail until we reached the 10 station from there on its all paved ladder to the tricycle station and shower station. We took a rest while waiting for our turn to the shower station. after the we get rested, showered and changed clothes we took a tricycle and went to a local Lomi house and ate a big bowl of lomi for onli 300 pesos for 8 person ( delicious wow )

then walked towards the highway to get a bus home
